Important Notice Regarding COVID-19

The Roswell-Alpharetta Public Safety Training Center has returned to full operations. We are following the recommendations of the CDC, Department of Public Health, and the guidance of both the Governor's Office and Georgia POST Council. Precautionary steps are in place to help reduce the risk to our students and staff.

Anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, a temperature over 100° F, or who has knowingly been exposed to someone who is positive for COVID-19 should not come to any RAPSTC classes.

Common symptoms of COVID-19 include sore throat, temperature above 100° F, cough, shortness of breath, new significant and unexplained fatigue or muscle aches, and new loss of taste or smell. Additional symptoms may also include chills, repeated shaking, headache, sore throat and COVID toe.

As part of our efforts to reduce the risk of spreading any illness, we are taking the following precautions:

• Visitors and vendors will have their temperature taken at the front gate and denied entry if they have a fever over 100° F.
• Students must answer a series of health-related questions and have their temperature taken every day before entering the classroom.
• Anyone who registers a temperature greater than 100° F will be escorted off campus immediately and will not be able to return to any RAPSTC property until cleared by a medical professional.
• Hand sanitizers are available throughout the Training Center, but we encourage students to bring their own sanitizer so that it is immediately available to them throughout the day.
• We strongly discourage making direct contact with other persons and ask that everyone practice appropriate sneezing and coughing etiquette.
• We are cleaning classrooms daily.
• Classroom doors will remain open to prevent the need to touch doorknobs, and all restrooms and other common areas are cleaned daily depending on traffic and touch points.
• Staff and students are encouraged and required to wear masks when not able to social distance 6' or more.

The health and safety of our staff, students, and visitors are a top priority for RAPSTC. As the public health crisis remains a fluid and evolving situation, we ask for your patience and understanding should the policies and procedures outlined in this email change with little notice. We will do our best to communicate openly and clearly whenever new information is available, or our procedures change.

We provide training for both State and Local Public Safety personnel. This includes Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical professionals. Online Course Registration

The Roswell Alpharetta Public Safety Training Center (RAPSTC) has launched a new online registration process for classes being held at RAPSTC. This web based program will be managed entirely online through .


To register your agency for the site you must contact with Floydette Roy 770-594-6228 or froy@roswellgov.com for an Agency Username and Password. Step-by-step instructions on how to use the registration software are located on the webpage. Once your agency has been registered, you must submit all of your training requests online. The training office will no longer accept training requests through faxing and/or mail. In addition, all training requests will be managed only by the Training Officer or designee of the department.
